My inventory is not in sync. What now?

No need to panic. Shopping Feed keeps your product inventory up to date automatically. If you encounter a discrepancy in inventory, there are a few steps you can take to update your data if you feel like something is not syncing correctly.

Is your store correct?

First off, you must make sure that the products that are out of sync are configured correctly in your storefront. Make sure that the product:
  • Is turned on, and visible on your storefront for any shopper to see. If the product is hidden from view, then Shopping Feed does not include it in the source feed. 
  • Has an inventory set of at least 1, or set to not track inventory.

Is your Source Feed updating?

If your storefront shows a different inventory than on Shopping Feed, check the update history of your source feed. Even if the source feed looks to be behaving normally, force update the source feed to ensure the connection is up to date. 


Is the channel not updating?

If both your storefront and the source feed have the same inventory, but one of your channels has a different inventory, update the channel manually with the Update button, found at the top of every channel. 
You can check the status of each update in the Timeline.
